  • Mac specs?

    Hey,

What are the required Mac specs? I plan to get the BMCC. Will it run on a current Apple iMac with the dedicated ATI video card?

Download the Resolve Configuration guide from Black Magic's support site. All the info, at least for Resolve 8.2 is there.

Has anybody here upgraded a 2008 8-core Mac Pro for use with Resolve? Which video card/GPU did you go with? What is your drive/RAID setup? What format/resolution(s) are you working at? What is your frame rate/playback like? Etc., Etc.

Thinking of converting one of mine, and I'd love to hear details from anyone that's already gone down the path.

          Users reporting sub-realtime playback..http://forums.creativecow.net/thread/277/4003
Anyway these forums are a great place for Davinci-related questions. Also if you search there, you will find specific information about the Macpro's performance.
