BMCUser Marketplace Rules/Guidelines - Updated

Hello, all. Thought it was about time to create a marketplace. This section is for person-to-person transactions only. Post your personal gear for sale here. Inquire about used gear you want to buy here.

If you are caught trying to run a business in this section without being an official site sponsor, you may be removed without warning. Please contact me ahead of time if you wish to engage in commercial activities.

This section is meant as a resource for our members.

Please look after each other. This is a buyer/seller beware zone. If you are not interested in a product, please avoid posting in that thread. Please list a price. ebay links are ok. No excessive bumping.

And another note… selling an item above the list price is something we call profiteering, and if you want to do that, you'll need to be a sponsor to use the marketplace for commercial purposes. Better yet…if you happened to get your hands on one of the first versions of whatever BMC camera and want to sell it for a profit, take it to eBay. It's your right to sell it for whatever price you want, but there's a certain community spirit we want to encourage here, and profiteering has no place in that community.

Would be great if people posted their location more often.
FS ads often say 'including shipping', or x amount 'plus shipping'. But shipping from where?
And very few sellers have their location in their profile or signature.
