  • Early adopters of bitcoin, please tell me your story.

As the title says I´d like to hear some cryptocurrency related stories from people that saw the potenial before everybody else. I´m interessted in both success stories and the more depressing ones.

    Thanks for sharing your experience!

I jumped on the hype too late(beginning 2018). And was only a downward trend for me
There is a good story about a dutch family who sold their house and invested in bitcoins. Not sure how they are doing now though.

I invested right before the crazy 20k spike. Potentially could have walked away with a huge bit of cash, but I got greedy and held on too long, ended up breaking completely even. Overall a positive experience, I guess, no losses.

I know people who basically went broke once it evened out. I'd stay away. Consider any money you spend on crypto as gambling.

I once had 4,000 coins, but it was worth like $50. I traded it all for a few blue-rays. I mined the coins for nothing, so it was a hell of a deal back then!

I bought about $400 worth a long time ago.
I thought it was going to be more of a usable Internet currency that I could actually use, but that didn't really pan out and I wasn't interested in it as an investment vehicle.
So I sold it off for about $480. That's nice I suppose, but it didn't seem worth the time of it all.

Been in crypto for a whie!
Mined a lot in 2010, sold too early during the first crash.
Got back in during the first rise of the altcoins in 2013-2014.
Got some profits but sold too late!

Did some mining then switched to trading in 2017.
It's a adrenaline filled system at times, that's for sure!

I heard about crypto only in 2017 when I witnessed the 1st real to the moon myself. I was shocked to find that one asset can make so many Xs. That was fascinating! True magic! But a lot of my friends went broke because they bought BTCs for 18k and all of a sudden bitcoin started to cost 12k and went on getting low almost every day. At the moment the main cryptocurrency is gaining power and maybe will top its ATH, time will tell I guess that it is high time to trade taking into account the latest tendencies on the market https://primexbt.com/blog/what-is-bitcoin-trading/.
