    Hang on now..
The 4.6k can do same (the dirty secret)
The Raven is costly with needed bits. Very robust though.

      Oh ye of little faith.

So far we've seen 4.6k prores footage shot with low-to-midland lenses of trees and dogs and such.

That Raven footage, for its debut likely had a zillion dollar cine lens on it with another zillion dollars in lighting gear.

      I'm in for the 4.6k.

haha, I'm just being dramatic; I never ordered the 4.6K Mini (but I am not interested in one either though)

Zeiss Milvus lenses are apparently rehoused ZEs, so the glass is about the same as everything else.

Absolutely gorgeous. Wish BM had a Raw 14:1 compression it really is so awesome working with R3D.

they should really just pay for a top notch DP, preferably ASC, to have a professional shoot with, spare no expense.

Not exactly. All Zeiss Milvus has improved coating which reduce flares significantly and improves colour. The Milvus 50mm f1.4 and 85mm f1.4 are completely new lens design.

"Brent and I [Jarred Land] handed our internal Bombsquad and Propaganda team a few Ravens to go shoot some “test” footage… this is what they came back with."

RED has an internal company team. So they didn't hire an ASC director of photography and crew. BMD has CaptainHook.

Ah got it thanks for clarifying. I remember reading earlier on that they were rehouses.

I really do like how the millionaire CEO talks to the common folk. They release the camera, they keep you updated, test footage comes...this kind of communication sounds like an enjoyable experience.

The new Milvus 85mm f1.4 is just shy of the Otus in terms of sharpness and CA but with nicer bokeh. All Milvus are weather sealed but not Otus or Zeiss Classic.
