Good day / night to you all,
I am currently in the process of developing an input lut for the GoPro Hero 3 and + so that it can be easily graded along side BMD FILM footage, specifically so that the same LUT's can be applied to get a similar result. I have spent a few days working on this so far and it is not quite ready for public release yet, but at some point soon I would like to be able to try out a beta version of it with some users on here, specifically those with both:
BMCC / BMPCC
and
GoPro Hero3 or 3+
Here is a very quick early test shot showing where I am up to so far,
This is with one of Captain Hook's BMD LUT's applied.
For the BMCC the node chain is:
WB Correction > CH LUT
for the Go Pro it is:
WB Correction > GP Input LUT > CH Lut
No other tweaks were required to match the footage.

The exposure variation in the 2nd image is down to how the GoPro applies auto gain during the filming - something a lut cannot fix.
But the reason I started this post is to see how many people meet the requirements and are interested in helping me to test the lut when it is ready?
