Great update. I was hopping for compressed raw for the bmcc, but nevertheless great. Finally they fixed the Audio issue.. anyone be able test that? I don't have access to my camera for the next couple of days

I've noticed they put up the firmware before they change the support page or announce it elsewhere so I've been checking that URL regularly and today it downloaded a file

Updated user interface ? What's new ? I Can't update fore the next day or so.

I've tested the audio on the BMCC and there are now low frequencies!

Because it's uploaded by the engineers in Aus where is already Monday evening. Support on the forum are mostly based in the US and normally do the announcement when they come online.

It is much better. It's now useable out of the camera. No need for special EQ tricks to fix it.

Well most of the work has been done to move the BMCC onto the same code base as the other cameras. This can only mean improvements and additional features will be easier to implement. They did say there would be more updates following this one so we might still get meters. Personally I use the meters in my EVF as there is where my eye is anyway.

When I got my BMD camera's I gave my wife my old hacked GH2, but I kept my Nikon mount lenses. I ended up buying her the 12-42 PZ lens to put on the GH2. So basically this update just gave me another lens option for my BMPCC, that is as long as I ask my wife
