800 on this camera isn't to bad, it does require more light than a pocket but there was a post stating to get the full dynamic range you need to use 800asa. It was on the official forum

Can't do this with an URSA Mini.

Thanks. Shot with a Canon 28mm at 1.8. There was light bouncing all over the place from the ferris wheel and the chaos that is the SM pier. Shot at 400ASA.

But I'm determined to explore 800ASA with this camera.
Aha, yeah I've walked around like that a few times. I hope BM doesn't stop supporting this camera. For me, the form factor and cheaper media make it a better choice than the Ursa.

Lol. I did, but I have an adapter to Sony BPU60 Battery which gives about 5 hours of shooting time.

Cool shots. Yeah the color from this sensor (Ursa4k in my case) is amazing. With some pro mist filters to get nicer highlights rolloff and the image is so good that I don't even see the need to upgrade to the 4.6k anytime soon.

misterkofa I was so impressed by your older video with the pocket camera and slowed down to 60fps, so I decided to give a try to the optic flow option in resolve. Here is the result (pass is: furs ) >

nice, very nice. It works great right? Especially when you actually direct your talent to move slow.

unless you're shooting action sports, you can get away with just shooting 30p and using optical flow/twixtor.

Have you or anyone here compared the two? Wondering if Twixtor is worth the price tag these days. I think they have a demo, but you know. Lazy.
