I think I'd use it more often. Also it's a little less intrusive visually causing less attention. Wondering what your thoughts might be.

Hey thanks Marshall. I love the pistol grip style i really do. But really need to practice though. For some reason my wife does a better job stabilizing and its my hobby LOL! I just wish the new came single supported heavier setup because im at the maximum weight.

With the Camera and battery, the Veydra 12mm (their heaviest lens), an IR/UV Cut 77mm filter, an SLR Magic VND with a hood screwed on, and the Wooden Camera cage I'm at 52.2 oz. That's 3.26 lbs. Been looking at the Beholder EC1. Mixed reviews for sure but looks to be the best of the bunch. If I got the Ronin I'd go the the MX as it'll handle so much more down the road. The Ronins seem much better thought out in terms of power and rigging other gear with. But I still like the idea of a small size. I think i'd use it more.

Hi all together. This is one of my first tests in cinematography ever - a weekend in cambridge.
I used for the hole clip a samyang 12mm cine and a genustech eclipse.

So - lets see it :-)

Yes, my first blackmagic camera and one of my first ever experience in cinematography/color grading etc :-)
So, is "has that vintage look" good or bad? Do you like it?

looks lovely I swear those samyang/rokinon lenses are among the best out there for a Film Look.
