In a follow up to my previous post (http://www.bmcuser.com/showthread.ph...-of-BMCC-day-1) , I promised I would share some raw files.
Here is a bit torrent file containing 3 Raw DNG sequences, straight from the camera, ungraded.
I have also included some reference grades to show what I am doing with them.
I have used bit torrent because the data adds up to about 7GB. Sorry if the speed is slow initially, please keep seeding it once you have downloaded. Also, I cannot attatch torrent files to here, so please grab the file from:
As it says in the Readme file:
You are welcome to experiment with these frames and upload your own example grades/edits of it.
but you MUST please ALWAYS credit:
Filmmaker - Tom Majerski
Actor - Terry Naylor
You may NOT use these clips in your own film,
You may NOT repost them as anything other than an example grade of my work.
You may NOT RE-upload the source files without my permission.
You may NOT re-torrent or re-share the source files online.
These are just rushes from my short film, there are times of sudden camera movement which would be extracted and removed during editing.
I hope you have fun with them, and I look forward to seeing what you guys do with them.
If the torrent is too slow for you, Hopefully these should be quicker!

Thanks for providing the files Tom.
Don't want to be disgraceful, but 7GB is a bit huge for my connection here.
Could you upload a package of single frames (one for each of the 4 scenes).
Thanks a bunch,

I'm new to bittorrent, so maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can download almost 4MB per second (30 Megabits per second), but I'm only getting 90KB per second, lol. Can you upload somewhere else?

wow 7.19GB torrent with one or two peers will probably will take a full week to download.
Can you please share a smaller file or individual clips?
edit: maybe with google drive or wetransfer or something will be faster.

wetransfer is a good option as well.

As you can imagine, the more people that join, and the longer it goes on, the faster it is for everyone. The caveat is that some people may limit their uploading bandwidth, or block it altogether, and so pull bandwidth by downloading without contributing anything back. This becomes more of a problem as people who finish downloading may not stay connected to seed to other downloaders.
So short version - stick with it, encourage anyone else interested to hop on, and please seed!

Thanks for the share Tom!!
Just my thoughts and comments on what others have already said, i don't think a torrent is the best way to share stuff like this on a forum. What happens when 2 months from now a new user is looking through this forum and wants to check out these files? The chances of there being ANY seeders is very very low. Also, if this remains a 7gig share, i think posting/uploading the clips to vimeo so people can check what they're downloading prior to a 7gig download would be considerate.

7 gigs is no problem for me if the files are uploaded somewhere. Is Google drive an option?
