Is F4 16-35 or 24-105 zoom with speedbooster fast enough for pocket 4K for handheld stuff? Planning to get one of these since they have IS too which is must for handheld imo.

Also, will the IS help if you shoot with shoulder mount or will shoulder mount make the camera so steady that there is no point using IS? I want to archieve that shoulder mounted look where the camera bounces a little when you walk, but is free of the micro jitters.

I have a bunch of fast Canon primes too but none have IS.

I'm gonna eyeball it and say that a SpeedBooster will give you a T-Stop of about T3.0 with an f4.0 lens, which is totally usable. By most accounts I've come across, the 4KPCC is a very capable low-light camera so T3.0 would be perfectly usable. As for OIS, I really only deactivate it when I have a solid support for the camera (tripods, sliders, steady cam, gimbals, etc.) so I wouldn't worry about it causing any problems with shoulder rigs necessarily.

I think more important than IS is to get some support.
A chest support and a second handle. Or a monopod.

I´ve seen some IS-lens footage with metabone and it doesn´´t look good.
I allways avoid IS. No matter if it is IS by lens or IS in camera. It just looks weird.

I have a tripod and I will buy shoulder rig and Ronin S or one of the alternative gimbals too. The IS would be for those times I need to hold the camera only.

Yeah thats the thing I'm wondering woth shoulder rig. If I want the shoulder mounted look, will IS help since the rig is so light or would it cancel the effect, like becoming too floaty.
