Awesome, Transcend is entering the CFast market. More competition, going to lead to lower prices.

    "The CFX600 cards are available in 128GB($249), 256GB($499) and 512GB($949) capacities. "

Yeah. Still really expensive. Should come down in a few months time.

Just be aware only the CFX650 have been added to our recommended list, not the CFX600 which are cheaper.

Yeah, saw that. But CFX600 is a lot cheaper, and should surely be good enough for ProRes? (well... less than 4K ProRes HQ that is, why not 4K ProRes HQ did it fail or just not tested yet?) Even though obviously not recommended for raw.

The CFX650 is on our recommended list for 4K ProRes HQ.

I've seen good results from the 256GB version so far, and have gotten 80fps RAW 3:1 and 105fps 4K ProRes HQ myself.

Can't comment on the CFX600 version.

This could be one of those cases where the dual recording will help no? Presumably the CFX600 may well work all the way up to 120fps 4k RAW 3:1 with dual recording?

MSRP is $499, so 40% discount!

Yup. This is as cheap as the Wise "deal" (mistake) which everybody went nuts over (and they're not BMD approved!).
