Shot this a few months ago & used a minimal set up for BMPCC - old Krasnogorsk pistolgrip/shoulder mount, Hoya IR/UV, Genus ND, RJ Focal Reducer with a Mir-24m & an Isco Widescreen 2000. Shot in ProRes HQ in Film mode & either ASA400 or 800.

Colour grading isn't my thing & I just didn't know how to handle the constant light strengths/changes/colour casts (pink, yellow, strobe etc...), so just thought f**k it & used a couple of Film Convert layers.
So any tips from some who knows better?
    Thanks...

Thanks for your kind words. Yeah the RJ gets a lot of bad press, which I don't understand at all as it seems to shine for me. Maybe bad copies, different mount versions or just user error - who knows.

I think this is great. Yea the color grading isn't anything to shout about but it's a effective price. Cool song too. How the hell did you get this amount of coverage anyways? Was this one take?

No its not one take, as i'm a lone gunman.
I was lucky as I got to film 2 different takes during the sound check (wide shot & some of the close ups of the singer) & then I just shot the shit out of it during the actual performance (if you look hard then you'll notice a few shots don't really sync).
