  • RESOLVE V. 9 - missing frames in renders

Hi. Is anyone else having this problem. Since I switched to an Nvidia Quadro 4000 card instead of a GTX 570 my renders have missing (black) frames. This is with DSLR footage or BMCC. Could it be something else? Not all of my renders are this way.

Are you using LUTs? there's a bug that renders random black frames if a LUT is applied.

I'm surprised this isn't a bigger deal with everybody being LUT crazy right now. It must only be affecting a very small % of users.

          Try upgrading to v10.

I'm in the middle of a feature and last time I tried installing the Beta it wouldn't use my database. I'll switch, just a few more months...

Peter, in 10 I get an instra-crash as soon as I try and import an XML from FCPX. Even the most simple test - a single 5 second clip project - causes a crash. I'm thinking I need to reinstall Resolve. Is there a best-practice way to do that?
