As of version 10, DaVinci Resolve Lite now has a timeline and render limit of UHD. That's 3840x2160.
Larger images can still be played, but they resize to the timeline resolution.
You will need the full version for timeline and render of DCI-4K.

You'll need the full version to import anything over 1080 (I believe) - which leaves the Lite (free) version out of this question.
The big BMCs ship with the full version - I don't think the pocket does. (Then again, the pocket doesn't shoot larger than 1080, does it? I seem to recall that...)
