  • Support for Fuji F-Log

Does Da Vinci Resolve 15 or 16 support Fuji F-log? I have a client who will be sending me clips that were shot on a Fuji XT-3 in F-log. Thanks.

Not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean does it have luts?

Resolve supports footage shot in any color profile. You can download f-log to rec-709 luts from the fuji website.

What I mean is can resolve open and read in an f-log file format and add it on the resolve timeline? I know it has f-log to rec709 lots.

F-Log is a color space/gamma. The Xt-3 records h.264 and h.265 in a .mov container. It's the most common file format in the world for video, so Resolve will open it just fine.

I don't have a Fuji camera nor have I ever got any footage from it nor do I know much about the type of container it is on. The client was going to mail me the files and I just want to understand if I can bring it into Resolve. Being an h.264/2.65 container, that clarifies it for me. Thanks.
