  • Proxy transcoding while maintaining folder structure

Hi everyone, I'm an experienced FCPX and Premiere Editor and now learning Resolve because some of my clients use it. great software really.

Is there a way to transcode (proxy in my case) files from a series of folders and MAINTAINING the folder structure as a result? This would smooth up my proxy workflow as I ALWAYS use proxies in FCPX. I basically want to be able to switch back and forth to proxies on a portable disk and original footage on my RAID array, thus being able to work remotely until export.

    Thanks!

I think you can do that in Resolve (I'm 99% sure) . Look for "extraction pattern operations" in the manual, there are some examples there.
