  • FS: VERY RARE Abelcine Universal Rod Adapter 15mm-19mm

    Hi!

I am selling an ABELCINE UNIVERSAL ROD ADAPTER 15mm-19mm.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------
"This device allows the mounting of any 15mm lightweight support accessory onto 19mm studio rods. The 15mm interfaces with small studs so no additional rods are required."
    -------------------------------------------------------------------

It is very hard to find - the NEW one is out of stock at Abelcine.

It sells for $325 plus tax + shipping, which totals close to $370

I am selling for only $200. (edited for lower price)

    IN GREAT CONDITION!

    Link below:

If interested, PM me or send me an e-mail at: eastco@gmail.com

    Thanks!

Some people asked for pictures to make sure it's the right adapter. The link is here:

This adapter has been discontinued by Abelcine so it is impossible to find one anymore.

Mate, unfortunately a few other companies make adaptors like this that are less expensive to start with (Movcam comes to mind) also, I doubt there are that many people on here using 19mm rods for their black magic setups.

                    Hi Toby!

Agreed. Other companies make cheaper versions. No question about it.
However, the Abelcine product is the best. Machined, one piece, solid as a rock. Hence - expensive.
But it will last you a life time.

And I think people should buy film equipment that lasts a life time.

In any case - if it doesn't sell by the end of this year, I am taking it off the market and I will keep it.
I have another one, but since it is discontinued by Abelcine, I will keep it as a back-up.

                    Cheers and thanks!

Only $200 plus shipping gets this adapter.

                      That's a hell of a deal.

Still available for the same amazing price of $200. If you add in taxes etc, it is almost a 50% off the new price from Abelcine.

                          In very good condition.

How is the price of $200 amazing? Maybe it is, but I'm in the dark here.
