Try contacting them. I believe they have one of those IM things on their page.

      • My Lensse FF came in, but there's an issue. The thumb screw that holds the gear in place doesn't go in all the way on the back side of the FF. No matter how hard I tighten it on the back side, it won't go in all the way. It's as if the thread in the back is too short or something. The front is fine. Anyone coming across this issue?

        • Hmmm, odd. Mine is fine and Franks having one sent to him. I'll ask. I'd contact them with that IM function on their site. How long is your screw?

          • My one just came in. I loved it , very well build and It is very solid just like a tank.. I really upsad for those guys selling such as unit so cheap.

The focusing wheels are little smaller but it doesn't look awkward on my setup as my other follow focuses and gives spaces for my cage. I am going to use it this weekend to for my upcoming weeding shoot and if really performs good I am going to send my oconn... to he Ebay and invest for the lens that is required desperately .

Here's a picture. It's about an inch from top to bottom and probably 3/4" on the stem. I sent them a message right after I found out about it. They haven't replied back... I'm assuming because of NAB preparations? I'm having bad luck with camera gear the past few weeks so I won't be surprise if I'm the only one with this issue.

I'm pretty much sold on this, but your review is exactly what I'm waiting for before pulling the trigger.

Yeah well I've never done one before and listening to myself and cutting it together is just awful! It'll be up soon. Oh the horror.

                          • Okay I think I know why my thumb screw isn't going in all the way on the back of the FF... the receiving threads is shorter in the back... as if they didn't drill in enough.

**Edit: after tinkering around with some washers, I managed to make it work. I just have to go to the hardware store and find the proper size washers and then super glue that sucker onto the thumb screw

                            • careful with super glue around lenses. even after it dries the fumes can affect lens coatings in a bad way. i learned this the hard way.

you can google "off-gassing" to learn more about it.

I'd contact them. Mine works really well so you might just have a dud. They have great customer service so it would be worth it.
