  • Cinema for humanity. Emotional scenes in film

i just feel every film needs that one big scene, that one emotional stab, that very big moment when we understand what it means to tell a story and be touched by that story. Here is my toast to film and the art of filmmaking. May it INSPIRE, ENTERTAIN AND CHANGE HUMANITY FOR THE BETTER. CHEERS.

Having said that, what are your most powerful scenes in films you have ever watched. please let us share.

i will post some of mine here is the first one.

well, considering that big hollywood is having a super dumpster summer loaded with flop after flop....
    The Lone Ranger
    RIPD
    Pacific Rim
    Turbo
    After Earth
    White House Down
    And many more.... FLOPPING.

BIG CINEMA IS IN TROUBLE! Now is your chance to jump in and save it. THe only thing doing good are G rated family animation and super hero movies.

Can the MODS move this to the "off topic" section?

I wrote a damned good superhero / supernatural script, but they won't give me the time of day unless it's based on an "existing property." So I have to publish the thing or make a cartoon or action figure or other such nonsense. Because we all know that action figures and board games make the best films.
