  • USB 3.0 PCI-E Card for Mac Pro

Hey guys, curious to know if anyone is running or has run a USB 3.0 PCI-E card successfully on their Mac Pro and which card they are using.

I see a lot of cards geared towards the PC platform but have no mention on using it Mac OS side. Is there really a difference?

      That looks great!
I bought a Caldigit card for much more than that a few years ago and it sucks completely.

I too bought a CalDigit PCI adapter. It works fine. Not as fast as native USB3 (obviously)

Works fine for my USB3 dock and external hard drives, however, I get random HARD CRASHES with my CF card reader plugged in. Like, it's unusable. Not sure why, but it only happens when the CF card reader is attached.
