    I always shoot at 24p. You can always deliver at 23.976 even if you shoot at 24.

    Today all post software can ingest anything 24 or 23.976 or any other frame rate. 24 will keep you out of trouble. It will give you nice multiples for slowmo 48, 60, 120.

    Also sound is 48000Hz, multiple of 24. If you shoot some 24, some 23.976, and have all audio at 48khz you're asking for trouble.

        To be clear, audio has a TC base and a sampling rate. In 2018 we record everything at 48kHz but the TC Base will change to 23.976 or 24.000 depending on what the post-supervisor wants. We only ever used to do those wacky off-speed sampling rates (48048Hz and 47952Hz) during the film days when re-sampling wasn't as good. So don't worry! Regardless of your frame rate, always record in 48kHz.
