Hopefully things have changed! Earlier previews were saying soft stops like AF-S Nikon zooms.

Have there been any BMCC tests of this lens posted? It sounds pretty ideal for a zoom compatible with the crop factor in low light...

Unlikely. Probably a G mount type.

It should still be easier to adapt manually than an EF version.

EF to MFT non Active Speedbooster (whenever it finally arrives) would make this a 12-25(ish)/1.2

                That's pretty interesting...

That would be a useful zoom lens range but I have two concerns. One is the lack of IS compared to the Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8. That may not be a deal breaker though. I find the other concern more of a problem. If I bought the Sigma 17-50mm, I would pair it with the Sigma 50-150mm f/2.8. If I used the sigma 18-35mm f/1.8, what zoom lens do I pair it with to get me at least close to 150mm at the long end and with 35mm at the short end? I exclude any zoom without constant aperture through the zoom range so that's why I have a problem finding a solution.

                      On the BMCC...

Parfocal is a little off but manageable. Bokeh looks ok though

What month was that? I preordered from B&H pretty late so I'm just trying to figure out how far back I really am.

Thanks for the offer. I'm not in a huge hurry. I can wait, just trying to plan a head and get a rough idea. I ordered in late August so it might be a bit. Thanks.
