Just wanted to say thanks so much for the quality work. Your breakout box is exactly what i dreamed of. Because of it, I can eliminate the clunky LP-E6 to-dtap adapter and thus yeild a more compact setup. now i hear you make custom cables?

Yes it is, I allready have one, and it is a nice improvement over the original 3D print unit. Also the new box works with the Wooden Camera Micro Cage, as well as the SmallRig Micro Cage.
    Cheers

I did get the message, thanks.

I haven't purchased a Micro Cinema Camera yet. I'm just pricing how much it will cost with all the bits before making a decision.

trispembo, just in case if you missed my PM, please check it. Earlier i send you email respond but got return error message, it seems your email inbox is full.

P.S. Just wonder. There where so many preorder requests just few months ago when Expansion Boxes where out of stock. But now when Expansion Boxes v2 are finally available only small amount of those people are actually confirmed their interest.

There are also $2 3.5mm 3 Pole Male to 4 Pole 3.5mm Female Jack Adapters on ebay and other places.

You can cut them and make nice custom pinout adapter for your CGpro controller and Expansion Box if you want to keep original cable untouched.

The dumbest thing that One Little Remote Lite even don't check common modern smartphone TRRS specification and don't attempt to follow it. He just put [ground] pin similar as used in outdated pinout used in "unknown camcoders, portable VCD and DVD players".
So this makes it 100% not compatible with any common existing TRRS to TRS adapters (adaptors).

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phone_...TRRS_standards
    http://blog.mklec.com/trrs-and-trs-p...ets-explained/

This all just proofs that TRRS is a total mess without any clear specification.

BTW. Rode makes nice Rode-SC3-3-5mm-TRRS-Adaptor if someone wish to check if it compatible with CGpro controller.

Different length 3.5 mm TRRS connectors

Gino, what other controllers use TRRS connection? So far, the OLG Lite is the only one, aside from the CGPro I have seen that use a breakout box. Most others I have seen, plug directly into the DB15 connector on the Micro Camera. I looked into replacing the TRS in Sijan’s box with a TRRS, but the later is too long to fit in this small space. So the adapter cable became the best solution.
    Cheers
