Those updates are really strange. They add one little improvement in a month to only one camera. They forget about Micro cameras at all. Is is so hard to add 48fps? Flip screen or flip overlay option? Where is zebra only option and other overlay customization? Assign custom functions to up-down buttons? Map changing framerate to PWM/S.BUS button? Map Overlay ON/OFF to PWM/S.BUS button?
All my custom made accessories for BMMCC/BMMSC now available here https://lavky.com/radioproektor/

still waiting on small bursts of 60 fps which I know it can do and I'm willing to do it with my team if they open source the firmware. it is very capable of running in short bursts at 60fps. I do understand over heating but at these bursts of say 5 seconds or 10 seconds hell even 20 seconds with a cool down period where it loads like a buffer would be perfectly capable.

Still waiting for people to understand the difference between firmware vs hardware, ASIC/SOC vs FPGA, and knowing vs speculating.

If you want 60fps, you will need a different camera, like one of the Ursa's or a Micro Cinema or Micro Studio 4K camera! That was designed to give 60fps (or higher in the case of the auras). The Production camera is "hardware" limited to 30fps Max, no firmware upgrade is going to change this. I am happy that Time Code out has final,y been added, which should have been there from the start. The BMCC has TC out dor rhe last several years!

I guess we are pretty much done with updates for the BMPCC right? What has it been, 18 months or something? Can we assume BM is done with this one? I still like using mine but its getting long in the tooth.

no, completely untrue. I hacked my BMCC and now it goes up to 10,000 FPS.
of coarse, it occasionally shoots a 1 megawatt laser out the lens, might be a problem.

I also had to window it to 2x2
                "Senior Member"???... Really???...

I really hope they aren't done with BMPCC firmware updates...
When will they increase its Flux Capacitor to 1.21 Gigawatts?!?

(... Or is that a hardware issue?)

It's too bad that these cameras stop working once they get old...
