      • Bought 2x256gb cards during the Veteran's Day sale. Did some tests last night--will do more this week.

This test represents *one* of the two cards. I'll test both separately later.

        ProRes 444 4.6k 24fps - no dropped frames
ProRes XQ 4.6k 24fps - no dropped frames

        RAW 4:1 4.6k 24/30/60 fps - no dropped frames
        RAW 3:1 4.6k 24/30 fps - no dropped frames
        RAW 3:1 4.6k 60 fps - dropped frame after 42 seconds

For RAW tests, this was all single card--will do dual later this week.

Those tests were done with dual card recording?

            • Damn, I have the 128gb Biwin and I can't go behond 6sec in RAW 3:1 4.6k @ 60fps. I have my camera programmed to stop recording when there are drop frames and it always stops at 6 sec...

When did you buy it? I wonder if they've had any manufacturing or design updates or the latest batch has faster speeds.

This is a known fact and not new. It's been talked about in this and other post. The Biwin Cards will only go without dropping frames to Raw 3:1 4.6K @ 24 and 30 fps. It does drop frames at Raw 1:1 at 4K too. The card write speed, even based on its benchmark is at 288Mb/s, in actuality on goes as high a 253Mb/s on various test done by various members here including yours truly. That's why I sent all 4 of my 256Gb Biwin cards back to Biwin in Hong Kong for replacement; but unfortunately it got stolen on its way or when it got there (hard to get anyone to take responsibility).

My Biwin 256gb card can record Raw 1:1 4.6k full sensor up to 30fps without dropping any frame.

Just stick with reputable brands the minor costs savings isn't worth it.

+1. And stick with reputable resellers like B&H or Adorama... Not ebay or AliExpress. Reputable brands like SanDisk and Lexar will payoff in the long run.
