  • Micro Cinema Cage Set up with Monitor

I am looking for suggestions for BlackMagic Micro Cinema Cage Set up with ability to mount monitor

I saw the following which seems like the best set up. Anyone know what this is and any other suggestions

I bought that rig. Gets here Monday. Instead of the wood handle I'm using nato cheese handle, and a swivel evf mount both from smallrig. Your pic is only a render from eohsd

        thanks

also does anyone know if the micro studio 4k shoots in flat like other blackmagic cameras. I read somewhere I think last year that it doesn't as oppose to the micro cinema does

        any thoughts?

It does not have a log profile. The contrast can be adjusted but only from an atem, which makes me wonder if the changes are happening in the head or just the signal.

so in order to have a log profile, u have to have a ATEM. if so which one?

It's not a log profile, just lower contrast. Whether or not that will yield additional dr is unknown. I'm not going to buy an atem to test it. The studio is much more interesting with the release of the 4K video assist.

The Came-TV Micro cage has a 15mm rod hole in the handle, allowing easy setup for a monitor or EVF. We're using these cages for our Micro's and we like them a lot so far.

                Here's Simon Sasha's setup:

are you left handed? ive never seen anyone put the monitor on the other side before.
                    but stealthy setup!

No, but access to the SD card is more vital.

True. This way the hdmi at least is only like 3" away from each other

                              These are some cool rigs!

How would I go about putting together a rig with only a side handle with LANC record button, 7" monitor on top rather than on the side...also, I'm a bit concerned about lens support, any good solutions out there?
