Here's a little film I made after dragging my 4.6K around Portugal a few months ago. Super portable style, literally just a battery and some cards – left my EVF and shoulder rig at home as it was too heavy for essentially a holiday grabbing some shots. Also only shot in Prores 422 LT, mostly as an experiment to see how useful the thinner codecs are in real shooting. Holds up pretty well, but it's no 4444 or raw. Grading this made me wish for the extra information, but LT seems totally useable for a lot of simpler stuff.

(if anything is out of focus, that'll be me wishing I had the EVF for bright sunlight).

Looks great. I recognise a few of those places in central west NSW.

    What lenses were you using?

I'd really like to help, but as I'm a PC user I can't as I'd wish.
I use the VLC Media Player for PC and it works flawlessly.

Here's the download link for Mac:

    Good luck!

Ah, another thing you can try is to upload the DNxHD file to Vimeo. After transcoding you can compare the file to your timeline.
Christian, the Mac version of VLC gave me an error that it didnít support the codec. Thanks for trying!

Just as I suspected, “faster than a speeding bullet, it’s Superman!” So impressed, Andrew. It would take me 5 weeks just to plan that shoot.

I shot all of this in 5 day's in rural Australia. 12 villages and over 1300kms. I do believe I was one of the first to receive it in Oz. All of the issues I am seeing from others I don't seem to be having. A tiny bit of Magenta on my 50mm Canon 1.4mm when above F8. I used a Inca and Hoya Vari NDs and had no issues. The dynamic range is mind blowing! And form factor very comfortable. Really happy with the results.

    Cheers,

    Andrew

Welcome to the BMCuser forum. Great intro wig that video. The URSA Mini has been out less than two months. Have you been one of the beta testers or are you related to Superman?
