Anyone know what Andy Shipside from Abelcine means by this tweet?

Keep your eyes on the Blackmagic website tomorrow morning.

Do you have a link to that tweet? I can't seem to find it.

Since I am already getting my camera, I can't decide on what side of the fence I fall on this one..

Nobody's confirmed it, but that's quite a weird coincidence that this pops up right before Andy's tweet.

This might clear some off the pre-order w8ing lists. ;-)

heh.. yeah, Since we know that there just are not that many cameras actually finished, it is conceivable that the EOS mount might end up being rare if this tuns out to be true...

I'd be surprised if they announced a second variant before they were even fully shipping the first version.

Honestly though, in the face of saying how hard BMD engineers are working to get IS, VUs, f/stops, SSD capacity, SSD formatting, DNxHD and other stuff, it's difficult to understand how they have time to design another camera. It would bother me no end for sure to find out they've been blowing smoke.

Noone said it was a second camera, I just posted it because it was strange.

Maybe it's someone's footage from a famous person or something? Who knows?

It could be anything, and it could be nothing at all.
