Would a pro mist filter help?

      This looks great! Thanks John.

Hmm... No AA filter could by interesting. It would definitely help get the most detail out of the 2.5k sensor, but it could also get you into trouble once in awhile. I'll be interested to learn what they decide to do and why.

hi john, It looks great but the motion come of as a bit interlaced or smooth-motion, when I watched it on my screen. I am wondering what framerate or shutter was used for this shot?

          Three things:

          1) It looks amazing!
          2) I really hope that color shift at :39 is just a CC goof in Resolve, or at the very least is not camera related. The GH1 had a blue-shift problem that looks very similar. I hope it's nothing like that.
          3) Just to clarify, John Brawley stated he shot the angles towards the interior at t2.8. And I'm tellin' ya, I don't see any issues with getting nice shallow DOF at t2.8 with the BMC! Imagine what f2 or f1.4 will look like. Those who have dismissed the camera because of it's theoretical deficiencies in shallow DOF need to look at this footage.

I'm a hater and not in hiding. The woman had too much clothes on. I was expecting to see more flesh tones

                Looks great, as expected.

If so, that does not sound good for shipping on target.
Indeed. Looks like a September shipping at the earliest.

I hope that if they choose to implement an AA filter that it's not heavy handed. Would actually prefer not having the AA filter and getting every bit of detail and res that I can.

Agreed. I hope they keep it off -- it's a compromise not worth loosing detail over.

Just got the word. Camera won't be shipping with an AA filter. There's good and bad for this. My opinion sits on the side of this being a good thing. It means more resolution and if you're concerned about those issues you can usually add light diffusion (pro mist or classic softs) to address it.

I'm sure there will be a lot of debate. I prefer to not have it and add diffusion.

                                JB.
