I'm actually buying a new winter wetsuit for the season tomorrow (water gets cold quickly around here going into September...still good now though).
Nice! The storm stalled for a bit and kind of messed up the swell, but not it is moving again (but not as powerful of a storm now). This morning was fun, but tomorrow morning we're expecting 8-10 ft, so that will be fun before the actual hurricane sits on top of us haha. Hope you get some waves!

It is a great lens, especially for filming sports. Since f/2.8 isn't necessary for filming surfing (imagine pulling focus on that haha), I prefer the smaller size of the f4 lens. This is the older version of the lens too.

I actually wished I didn't have the speedbooster on for filming the surfing. I would have preferred the extra reach and an extra stop less (forgot my ND lol) for that.

Hurricane Swell Surfing Shot on BMPCC 4K

I took the Pocket 4K out to film some surfing (before heading out myself haha) of some of the swell created by Hurricane Dorian.

Mix of 4K60 and 120p shot mostly on Canon 70-200 F/4L IS and a couple of shots on the Sigma 18-35.
