    Great shots man!

I've got one of those babies on pre order... can you tell anything about low light performance?

Gorgeous stuff Note. Though I will say that this could very well have been a UMP g1. The look I mean. Man i'd love to slap those Cooke lenses on the g2 and do some 120fps.

I guess later when you get more time with the cam you can elaborate on the differences ...if any...between the G1 and G2 as it pertains to things other than frame rate.

Hey Note, thanks for sharing the test!

I don't know anything about the ISCO Ultra Star, though I love the look. Beautiful, creamy character but also punchy and sharp.

How is it adapting to the host lens (Nikkor 50mm)? And how to you find pulling focus with that rig?

it's supposed to be a new sensor... (?)

I'd like to know something about low light... if possible.
I don't want an infra red camera, just a clean image on low light.

Any info Note would be much appreciated.

              cheers

Note, the G2 footage looks really great! Would love to see more when you have it as well as to hear your thoughts on the camera as a whole.

It's a refined UMP, in a great way. The colors are a bit different and I love that about it. The RS time being half or so is noticeable.

Waiting to possibly shoot a lowlight fire scene but the UMP has been clean for me. The G2 is definitely clean at what I generally shoot in, 800.

The FVD is very nice! The RS times, color and HFR are great improvements. RS being noticeable!

The Nikon is a great setup! Pulling focus isn't very hard.
My Nikon sort of broke so I'm using a Rokinon 50mm for now

How's that going? the 77mm of the rokinon doesn't pose a problem? Or just stepping it down will work fine? Would love to see images of that set up. I'm interested because I already have a couple rokinons and want to get a "cheaper" anamorphic option. Thinking of even trying it out with my SLR magic APO lenses....but don't know if it would work.

The Rokinon doesn’t from what I’ve noticed. The Nikon thread is out but the lens is usable. But the problem is that it’s stuck to a filter.
I’ll upload some pics tomorrow for you!
