Hey guys! I'm directing and DPing an exciting documentary, at least for me! It's about dinossaurs and their "presence" in current times, which is a subject that I love. I'm still editing, but here are few grabs:

Shots look very good - I like the grading, too. But I'm more curious about the subject - what do you mean by dinosaurs present in current times?

            Hey,

This webepisode should be ready in a few days and I'll be able to share. But basically, birds such as chickens are today's dinossaurs. We had some very interesting talks with paleontologists about that. Of course, we all saw Jurassic Park so we know about the bird heritage, but I actually didn't know the current belief is that the velociraptor was covered in feathers. As was probably the T Rex. Very interesting stuff. I finished editing already but I still need to do the subcaption.

            Cheers

So I've finished subtitling this video but haven't fully proofed it yet (I already saw one or two mistakes there that I will correct).

Wanted to share this with you and get some of your thoughts. This was a great adventure but, as always with this client, I had the scripted text only two days prior to the shooting. Fortunately I knew the place and I had some ideas. He wanted a web documentary that was light but with a more serious and persistent finale.

This was mostly shot with the Ursa Mini 4.6k but has some archive footage as well.

              So here it is:

Hope you guys enjoy it. Let me know what you think.

Looks very nice. I really like the color. Did you use a LUT for a starting point?
Ursa 4.6k, Pocket Cinema 4k, BMCC, GoPro Hero4 Black, Mavic Air, Phantom 2, Canon T3i, Lots of glass.

Thanks Marshall. I'm using Juan's 2383 Kodak LUT as a starting point. You do need to do some extra work to bring the image to a nice balance, but it's worth it.
