  • Proof of Concept Trailer Screenshots

    ADDED:
    https://vimeo.com/217701085

Some screenshots from a zero budget, proof of concept video I'm almost done with.
The majority was shot on the Ursa Mini 4.6K with a few things on Sony a7sII + Ursa Mini 4K.

Took a while since this was a "weekend" project. The thing that sticks out like a sore thumb is that I learned a lot shooting this and so a lot of it seems like it was shot by different people. Also, it was a learning curve shooting the Master Chief given he's 7' 2". A lot left to learn!

Simply seeing screenshots of footage that's actually in focus on here makes my filmmaker parts tingle. Love it!

I won't lie, some of these stills (as is) are not in the short trailer for one reason or another and there's a scene where I think I missed focus but it goes by quickly

Man, I was just asking you questions on YouTube yesterday on ISO rating. Glad I ran into you here. These stills look great. Great thing about weekend projects is that they have a good ROI for experience. Using any gimbal on someone that's 7' 2" must've been hardcore on the arms.

These are great! You know I like the natural lighting/low light look. Well no one probably knows what I like :P, but I do.

Suit does that . I'm always amazed at it!
Quite nervous about this project since I don't think it visually (or sonically) the best work we've done (it rained EVERY SINGLE DAY) but it's one of the proudest due to how it all came together.

Trying to fit that in. Some of these have different versions due to the fact that the rhymth is better (though they might not visually look as good).

Yes, waiting on a new grading monitor. Release is super close.

Not sure why Vimeo/Youtube tints the color versus the one I'm viewing on desktop.
Really proud of how the group came together—learned a lot from it.

Not perfect—definitely a lot of areas to improve upon—but truly a stellar group of people!
                              Shot on 4.6K + 4K + a7sII.
