    My first test with the Blackmagic Cinema Camera. I ventured out in my neighborhood of East Austin at magic hour to see what I could get out of this amazing camera. Everything was show in 2.5K RAW and graded in DaVinci Resolve. I played around in a couple of shots with using Juan Melera's Kodak Film LUT (juanmelara.com.au)
    Lenses: Tokina 11-16, Rokinon Cine 85mm
    Music: Hanan Townshend - "Marina's Theme" from "To the Wonder" soundtrack

    "This is what I saw that made me grab the Canon 16-35."

    I see what you mean. I could live with that. Very solid, crisp and cinematic. Only drawback is it's not anamorphic. Is there any anamorphic option yet that could work on a feature production?

    I think Liam was referring to the slow motion technique employed here. I could be wrong.

    @Liam

    We get it - you like airy with what we call in the biz 'the Scandi grade'. Low contrast, miles under clipping.
    I'm not sure you need to keep reminding us.

    It's a comparison between F65, RED and BMCC. Pretty interesting results and conclusions. Thought it would be interesting to mention in this showcase thread.

    Yeah its not great really just some very graded footage and just very broad general commentary/commercial, really just another commercial from that production company that had the countdown to its pretty awful camera shoot out a few months ago.
