  • Video short to practice lighting int. & ext. night scenes with BMCC

I shot this a while ago to practice lighting night scenes, just got around to finishing it now. I used a mix of fluorescent and tungsten lighting. Shot in raw and color corrected in DaVinci Resolve. Thanks to everyone from the cinematography section who gave me advice on light this.

Thanks. I've been trying to improve my camera work lately. In the past I've been too stationary and stuck in the Wide shot - cut to Medium shot - cut to Closeup and repeat pattern.

Sweet! Lots of fun and good memories when the family sees this again in twenty years.

Really enjoyed that as well! Very effective use of a transition I try and avoid using at all costs lol. But for real, I enjoyed the cross dissolves here. Great choice.
