Hi Everyone,

We are a small company from Scotland, thatís right we wear Kilts and drink an abundance of whisky. Weíve developed a brand new lighting system for content creators called The Scorpion Light. Itís a sweet multi-directional, clamp on to anything, battery powered, dimmable, super flexible, CRI>90 LED light lighting system. We are currently running a KickStarter Campaign and would love to hear some of your opinions or feedback.

Look Forward to hearing from you :)

Don't think so, Dodo is a totally different concept.

Great idea! This would be great for location run and gun productions.

Skin tones in the video at the top of the page didn't inspire much confidence, but we don't know how that was actually lit. But the price seems a bit out of the ballpark right now. 1150 pounds for 4 little lights?

How so, Frank? How they use the lights in the videos is how I have used dedos.

As has been said (including by myself already elsewhere) your pricepoint is too high.

Hi all,

Thanks for all you replies, of course price point is one of the most important factors we have to consider. The great thing about kickstarter is that it's not a shop front, its a proof of product and a great way to engage and get feedback. We're learning all the time from BVE to NAB about the value people put on the product. Some think cheap some think expensive.

I guess my question would be what would your perfect price point be? We get a lot of comparisons to Dedo, their top lights are £500 exc VAT and there set of four lights is £2,850. We are at 40% of out Kickstarter with 30 days to go, so we're still pretty confident (our price of course includes everyhting from batteries, charger, gels, dtap ect ect. I would though love some honest opinions from potential buyers.

Hope all is well
