The all-new HolyManta VND is finally available! With this lens adapter (initially for Canon EF lenses) setting manual exposure has newer been easier and quicker. Video filming has always been for restricted compared to photography in terms of exposure - due to the shutter which most often should be set to a 180 degrees angle.
The built-in variable ND filter allows you set the perfect exposure in second without taking your eyes from the viewfinder, and inserting the dust protected filter now takes less then a second instead of almost minutes as with external filters.

love it just can't work with the EF lens mount; surely best to start with though. Are there other lens mounts already in work or will you first see how this one goes?

How do you manage backfocus without a clear glass?

Hi, shipping to LA is between 4 to 6 days.

@Manta

How do you manage backfocus without a clear glass?

Since the filters are extremely thin, the focus shift is very small. The shift is less than 3,5%, which means that if you focus on a subject at 100m and activate the filter, focus will now be at 103,5 m.

This looks fantastic! Any chance you'll make an ND adapter for Canon FD lenses on a Micro 4/3 camera?

Thomas, I just got the HolyManta! I'll mess with it in a few days when I have some time. It is a very clever design, very easy to install. Thanks again for the fast shipping.

This is exelent. My anticipation on this product was very big. Glad it is out now.
Hope there comes a mft to mft. This is for BMC mft use with mft to speedbooster FD.
Wonder if it's possible concidering the distance to the sensor you get with 2 adapters.

Also wait for the Nex-FD version. Great you are so far already. Hope you will extent the choice of lenses.

I'm just wondering how it will work along with a Metabones BMCC MFT to EF speedster? Any issues there since it would be stacking adapters in this situation?

Can't use it with the speed booster. This adapter converts from EOS (or nikon) to MFT. There isn't any room for the Speedbooster.

It's been 5 days since I ordered my adapter from Holymanta.com. I sent some e-mails to ask for the shipping status but I haven't received an answer yet.
Haven't received a tracking number, nor a shipping confirmation, for that matter.

Normally, I would just wait, but I payed $35 extra for a faster, trackable shipping option..

EDIT: Thomas contacted me a couple of hours after I posted this. The package is on its way now in express shipping :) Thanks for that!
