Fujinon 14.5 - 45mm I T2.0 (PL)

Unfortunately it's PL mount and costs a small fortune.

How silly would a BMC look on a gear head?
:-)

Try wearing it as a hat and find out.

Everyone is a comedian. Not necessarily a good one either.

Approximate Price: 91 724.00 USD !!! How many BMCs and CP2 Primes would you be able to buy with this kind of money?!?

Moral of the story though is that relatively wide, fast, zooms exist. Of course these are out of most people's price ranges but it is nice to know that if this is something that you will need, it's available for rent. More importantly, it's a PL zoom so there actually could be a good chance that you could adapt it as the problem more is with PL primes.

A RED Pro 17-50mm T2.9 Zoom is only $6,000... If only *that* lens weren't PL. It would probably be a perfect lens for a BMD lens combo.

Price is relative, if people were planning on picking up something like an FS700 until the BMC was announced - that's $5000 freed up to spend on glass/accessories.
