Just started mine. Using Red Rock stuff so far. I must say that the Wooden Camera stuff is super nice as well. I got XLR mic inputs (not pictured), need a battery pack, maybe a EVF, Matte Box and a good mic attachment.

We've got a thread for those who've already received their BMCC's, and also a thread for rigs awaiting BMCC bodies.

You can post yours here too > http://bmcuser.com/showthread.php?2987-Already-have-a-BMCC-Let-s-see-your-rig!

@RockettMan
That Rig is long, You need to get the
camera as close as you can above your shoulder,
and the handles as close to your chin as possible,
for any long Run & Gun time,
or your shoulders will fall off!

This rig allows me to get the counterweight pretty far behind me. It feels good.

I wanted a system that I could mount to a tripod and quick release to run an gun.
I also wanted the option of recording great audio without relying on having a dedicated audio tech with me.
I've got my MKH 416 on a shock mount, which will plug into the Z1U once I get a 2' cable.
I cannibalized a $99 "dslr rig" for some spare 15" rod and a handle, which I wrapped in leather using epoxy.
My alphatron evf is mounted using parts from a Manfrotto articulating arm.
The 15" rods extend far enough from the camera to protect my lenses from impact, including my canon 70-200 2.8.
They're also outside of the field of view of my Sigma 8-16, no visual presence of the MKH16 either, which was a bit tricky. I had to mount the shock mount pointing backwards to avoid that.
It's all under the 15lb limit for my motorized kessler stealth slider too.

Overall, it's a really pleasant rig. I still want a lanc remote for the h4n and the camera to run some buttons to the main handle. And I've noticed in shoulder mount mode it gets heavy really fast, I think I may need to adjust the proximity of the handle.

What do you guys think?

As you can see, i lost my red record button lol. Is there a change to buy it separately?

Red buttons are totally overrated IMHO.

Haha i thought so!

But if I'm going to sell my BMCC for example, I'm pretty sure the are going to bitch about it. ;)

Somehow that looks super cool to me. Industrial and a little old school.

Still in the "this-is-all-i-can-afford" stage, but it's coming together nicely.

I'm so happy my Nikon to BMCC Speedbooster arrived yesterday.
Now I have my very personal kit of re bayoneted Olympus OM lenses: 35mm f2, 55mm f1.2, 85mm f2, 135mm f3.5 and Sigma 17-50mm f2.8.

The 55mm F1.2 was a bit special because the holes didn't align with the pre made hole of the OM to Nik bayonet and the rear element is 1 mm away from the Speedbooster element.
I cant have the lens on infinity when I mount it. BUT it works really good! I can get focus up till 30 meters in the 55mm and infinity on the rest.
