View Full Version : For Sale: Davinci Resolve 9 Full version

Hi guys,

I recently received my cinema camera, but I'm not sure I'll really need the full version of Resolve that comes with it. The only limitation of the lite version that I care about is that it's limited to 1080p, but for a 2.4k debayered image, 1080p is about right. The added noise reduction of the full version would be nice, but I also like other plugins for noise reduction.

I won't be using multiple graphics cards or Red Rocket cards. I won't be shooting in 4k, 5k, or 3D anytime too soon. Unless someone can open my eyes to a must have feature of the full version for my BMC workflow, then I believe my copy of Resolve would be better used by someone who needs these high end features.

Davinci Resolve 9 Disc and USB key - $700

I hope this is a good deal for the right person.

Can you process the 2.5k DNG's in the lite? Just not output more then 1080p?

I'm using 6K RED footage through Resolve V.9 Lite in a 1920x800 timeline (We shot WS.) The 2.5K will process just fine. I'm getting about 20fps with one GPU.

Brad what's your computer config just out of curiosity? And what Red are u using that shoots 6k, have u got prototype Dragon footage?

Thanks for the feedback Brad. I really feel like 1080p is plenty after debayering the image.

Good idea. Just posted there too. I just feel a little bad posting something for sale on a forum I've only been a lurker on. Not sure why.
