I recall seeing a picture of the bottom of the camera with a lot of little of vents (perforated holes) and a note regarding the cooling fan. Does anyone happen to have a link to that? I'd hate to rig this up in some way that would block the cooling vents...

Also, the note regarding the fan grabbed my attention - Mr. Brawley, if you are reading and the camera is indeed vented on the bottom and has fans to promote circulation, can you comment on the situation? Are they noticeably loud, do they run while shooting, can the speeds be set manually, etc.?

Just ran across it after continuing my search:

From: Pro Video Coalition: Is BMD the New RED - Part II (http://provideocoalition.com/index.php/awilt/story/nab_2012_is_bmd_the_new_red_part_2/)

So it looks like there are two major vents, which makes sense (in and out), and a presumably removable piece of the chassis for access to the fan.

So in addition to my previous questions: Is there any information as to whether the fan is user serviceable?
