Just before the holidays I shot a string of digital spots for Chicken of the Sea. Budget was very tight and the treatment/schedule pretty demanding, so we opted to shoot on my URSA. Everything was shot ProRes 444 in UHD. I used Canon cinema zooms, 15.5-47 T2.8 and 30-105 T2.8. The whole shoot was very fast paced but with all the challenges I think the camera held up pretty well.

Great work! The BMPC4K gets a lot of flak because people don't use lights lol

You're using the camera properly ;)

Nice spots. For the overhead shots, did you use a big grip rig for the camera, or did you shoot up into a mirror?

Originally I planned to achieve these with Fisher 10 dolly and a 90 plate, but the dolly wasn't going to fit inside the location, so we just rigged the plate directly to the sticks. We had to counterweight it quite a bit but it worked! Sticks had to have been holding up 80lb+ all said and done. :)

I like that overhead rig. I didn't even think about how challenging these shots could be until trying a few myself. Yours look great!
