I went out to the park and tried to shoot some symmetric shots. I really need to get the IR & UV cut filter, and some more decent ND filters. But you gotta make do with what you have, for now.

Shot with the BMPCC and the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital 17mm f1.8.

Color correction and grade with Davinci Resolve.
Edited in Premiere Pro

Wow.
Really crystal clear.

You've posted other stuff with Olympus lenses, right?
I'd like to discuss them with you sometime. From my GH2's to my Blackmagics - I've never used Olympus lenses at all, but I do hear them referenced in serious discussions, and your stuff certainly speaks for itself. So far I have been all Nikon, Canon FD, and Samyang glass.. with an odd Voightlander, Sigma Art, and SLR Magic thrown in.

Those lenses are pretty affordable too, right?
~Cheers!

Thank you! It is sharpened in post though, but I was amazed at how little I had to adjust to get it that crispy. I also thought it'd have more noise because of it. But because of the lack of ND filters and the sunny weather I had to shoot with the ISO at 200, which also reduced the noise quite a bit.

I actually only have the Olympus 17mm f1.8. And this is the one I've used for all my videos thus far. I have some experience with Canon FD and old Nikon NIKKOR lenses. And I really want to combine the crispness I get from this Olympus with some vintage lenses. I recently purchased a Helios 44M, dirt cheap, but I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Did you shoot it raw or Prores? Just curious as there is a bit of moiré here and there.

I shot RAW. I know, especially in the third shot in the mid/upper right of the frame.

Lovely footage.. I was there last Tuesday, wish I had my black magic with me.. Instead made do taking 360 photos with a VR app.
