I've seen (Not saying where) a Canon FD 24mm f/1.4L at a price that's not totally daft.
So what do people think, spring for it or wait for the SLR Magic 23mm f/1.7? Or go with the Samyang 24 f/1.4?
The various 25mm f/0.95s are sadly out of my budget.

I'll be getting the MFT version of the BMC and there are lots of MFT-FD adaptors out there.

If 24mm is the focal lenngth you want, then for 545, I would go for it.
That is quality fast glass at a very good price !

Yeah there are so many pros and cons and maybes that they're balancing out.

TBH I'm not that well off and I've just put a 400 hole in my credit card bringing my PC up to minimum spec to run Resolve so....

Dunno, and that's the trouble.

I sold mine for $600 a few years ago and I think at the time we knew each other on SU forum. If only you'd asked me then?

It was a pretty good lens but not a jaw dropping one

Yes, though at the time I couldn't have used it, now I could.

TBH It would have to be jaw droppingly good for me to extend myself that much. I know Ken Rockwell likes it but I take his opinions with an unhealthyly large pinch of salt.
