Has anyone thought about good methods to shoulder mount this camera with a follow focus and some sort of remote to trigger record, adjust iris etc?

Looks like it may be hard to access the controls if this camera is sitting on your shoulder!

I will be working on this.

I understand you will be able to use a lanc controller. More on this as we find out more.

I plan to have an EVF and external battery IDX/AB solution similar to what I use on my other cameras.

This will also accommodate Mattebox FF with or w/o rails.

Wooden handle with a LANC controller is a nice thought.

With LANC are the buttons programmable? Or is that dependent on the camera?

I am thinking of using the Kinotehnik LCDVF (SDI version when they make it) + And shoulder rigging the BMD similar to this simple vocas rig for the FS100.

(Minus the top handle, and probably different handle grips)

I can't wait to see how the lanc is implemented. I am hoping to have ISO, record, and focus control accessible via lanc.

The LANC controller is key. The ergonomics of it will determine if this is merely a studio or an all around camera. I really hope they get it right for their handles and other people's as well. With a maximum of controls and a flexible, well integrated mounting solution.
