I'm part of a ducu crew (Mosaic of Live) in the moment and we where shooting in Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial today.

During the breaks I played with the BMC.

What lenses did you use? Still waiting to see some footage with your Pentacon six mount lenses...

Nice work frank. My dad took our family when I was young and the place really sticks with you........
it really hasn't aged from the 70's

Very nice shots Frank. Is it me or does #3's atmosphere/ grade make it look like a screen grab from "The Hunger Games"?

Many thanks for all your wonderful footage and information!

I can't imagine what goes through one's head when shooting at such a location... I would be overwhelmed just being there, let alone trying to actually concentrate and accomplish something.

Yeah, I know what you mean, but we are lucky to have a wonderful team and quite a positive story to tell, of a man who found a way, to survive that madness there.
The old guy is quite inspiring, when he tells his story, gave me the goosebumps a few times.
Rodney Chartes, Nino Leitner, Phil Arntz and all the rest are such a pleasure to work with, even on that location.

4th day of shooting. Very emotional day, including tears from the crew - pretty touching and intense.

Just a quick phone photo, I post some material I shot with the BMC on the side tomorrow.

I love these. Most guys I know spend hours trying to light so that they get that look of daylight coming through a window. Says a lot about the camera.

Just spent a week in Bosnia shooting a doc about concentration camp survivors over there. Life-changing stuff, wish I'd had the BMC instead of 2 7Ds ...
