Its a very interesting move, i'm quite excited. Not as excited as when The Foundry bought Modo but still it is very interesting. See how the next year or so pans out. Having Resolve integration into such a deep package would be pretty crazy, but its a damn dense toolset.

interesting, but I think it's too late. nuke is so far ahead when it comes to features & market share, I don't think fusion will ever be able to catch up again, even with a big company like blackmagic backing it.
don't get me wrong, I would love for fusion to flourish again, I used to do tons of compositing work with it, but I think this is too little too late.

the only reasonable thing would be to merge some of the features of fusion into resolve to create something more of powerfull tool that rivals the outdated flame system.
